I grew up in country South Australia and I've always had a thing for leather. It's tough, it's practical, and it's got character. I started learning to work with leather part time in 2017 while on a university exchange in the US among other work in the cattle industry. Then followed it on throughout the years, building on my craft while I worked with cattle, farming and stints in earthworks and operations. I do however, have a soft side for the finer things in life! haha quality tooled leather gear being a very large part of that. Now I am here, doing my best to turn beautiful leather, skins and furs into pieces of art that are as unique as the gorgeous people that buy them!
What's in a Name? Kywanna Leatherwork
Kywanna - that's not just a name to me. Family, my people and our critters are everything! Kywanna Leatherwork kinda piggybacks off of the name of our family farm because to me that's special. It's about keeping it real, sticking to my roots, and pouring all the love into every piece I create.
Straight Talk, Quality Work
What I love most is that leather, being a natural material from an individual, means that every piece is original and unique! The individuality of the skins and their amazing versatility contributes largely to the singularity of the products, with a touch of help from yours truly and my handy toolbox hahah. This is what I love so much about what I do, because I strive to promote being yourself, unforgettably and unapologetically.
Have a Look Around
I am privileged that I have been able to build something I am so passionate about into a business that will allow others with a similar appreciation for this kind of leatherwork and lifestyle, enjoy my work and build a badass outfit for themselves, loved ones and their most treasured critters! So, take a look, see what catches your eye, and let's make something cool together. Thanks for stopping by Kywanna Leatherwork - where every piece of leather has a story.
